The Role
Job Description:
To be the communications engineering support on site and is the technical interface of the customer to discuss all the aspects relevant to the telecommunication subsystems design and implementation.
Skill:
Telecommunication/Communication Engineer with wide and long experience in the design and implementation of telecom subsystems in underground application.
It is required experience not limited to SDH and IP Backbone Networks, TETRA Radio Networks, WiFi network, CCTV, Intrusion and Alarm System, Passengers Information System, Public Address System, Private Telephone Network, Emergency Control Box, Fiber Optics networks, On Board System (composed by all the previous subsystems), Digital Voice and Video Recording, Time Distribution System. Network Management Systems and Operation Control Center (including SCADA) knowledge. Good knowledge of railways and metro environments, of the relevant application standards and operational constraints.
Relationships:
Due to the role interfacing different entities (the Customer and the Home Office Engineering Department) the capacity of a clear and professional technical communication is highly appreciated.
This role shall assure the correct information flow between Dubai (Customer, others subcontractor) and Home Office project engineering department.
The capacity of carrying out technical meetings with the customer is a strong requirement for this job skill.
Other activities:
To support the Civil Interface manager in interfacing the Civils in charge of the construction of the metro in order to pass them technical details and installation details.
Support the Change Manager and Project manager for change proposals discussion and finalisation.
Requirements
25K AED to 30K AED per month-TAX FREE (55K-65K sterling a year)
