The Role You will be providing engineering, design and construction support for outside plant facilities including Backbone FOC and Access Network FOC designs (FTTx, GPON) including the surveys. You will define standard design/Drawing for civil work such as trenching, duct, hand hole/manhole, wadi crossings, road crossing etc. You will generate technical specifications of Fibre optic cable, ODF, joint closures, optical splitters etc. you will also generate as planned drawing and BOQ for civil and cable work. you will coordinate OSP design with Network design (Transmission/Access)and ensure Outside plant Data integrity using GIS and AutoCAD software You will conduct acceptance test for the implemented projects. Requirements You have BE in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering with experience in Telecom Industry. You have broad Knowledge of Outside Plant Network Design, Mapping and drafting using GIS and AutoCAD. You have good Knowledge of Optical fibre characteristics and civil work techniques. You have a general Knowledge of all transmission technologies including DWDM, SDH, PDH, GPON, Metro Ethernet. You are very cost oriented with the ability to make You are fluent in English. Arabic a plus. Experience in GIS would be a Plus.

Scope............

Responsible for all civil engineering design, and implementation planning and support of all TSI Wireless, Microwave and Satellite telecommunications network facility planning, construction, and documentation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to:

Manages/monitors the design and structural development of complex Wireless telecommunications facilities.

Analyzes, designs, administers plans, material and resources for all civil engineering efforts.

Designs, Oversees and/or performs the physical layout of all civil engineering drawings, plans and documentation.

Supervises the installation of all civil works in country.

Job Role:

• Enables Site Design according to Customer’s, NSN’s standards & guidelines and local regulations..

• Responsible for all technical aspects regarding Permit Drawings, Construction Drawings, Static Calculations, Foundation Calculations / Studies, Soil Reports, Land Surveys, all drawing approval procedures.
• Further more for all design related acceptances. Cooperation with all departments.
• Localizes global design guidelines according to country specific rules and regulations.

Primary tasks:

• Develop, Review and approve/comment on detailed design drawings and foundation calculations for NSN Indonesia
• Review and approve/comment on SDA's for Co-location projects and develop generic models for common structures

Secondary tasks :

• Updating and maintaining model site drawings in coordination with the clients consultant.
• Any other design issues related to the projects.

Qualification:

• Structural engineer (B.sc or M.sc) with good knowledge to the American design codes for structures and foundations.
• Capable of handling the pressure from the project for numbers while ensuring the design quality.
• Fluent in English (both speaking and writing).
• Bahasa is a advantage but not requirement.
• Experience on Structural Design is a Must.
