Site Engineer (reports to Civil Works Manager)

Construction supervision of a technical building in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Main tasks

for finishing works and site works

- Supervision and coordination of several subcontractors

- Validation of the executed works in conformity with approved documents (specification, drawings)

- Quantity measurement

- Site Acceptance Tests preparation with subcontractors

- As built documents preparation and validation

Location

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Education

Engineer degree Holder

Required skills and experience:

- 10 years in civil works / building execution out of it 5 years in finishing works

- Full knowledge of safety rules is a must, experience as a safety officer would be appreciated

- English fluent, speaking and writing

- working knowledge of reporting soft tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project)

- Leadership personality

Mission duration:

ASAP to end of November 2009
