About the Job : Mission/ Core purpose of the Job: 
To ensure a specialized and dedicated service to the Radio Planning Department in terms of assisting with:
• Strategic analysis of current and future In Building Solutions (IBS)
• Ensure communication with marketing and other departments with regards to additional IBS locations
• Ensure proposed IBS locations fall in line with capacity & quality rollouts
• Ensure board approved IBS numbers are achieved as well as relevant targets
• Facilitate all required actions for IBS
• Procedures; Proposals; Financial; Build progress; IBS Project Closure (per location)
• Technology research and investigate new innovative methods for IBS locations 
• Budget control
• Facilitate vendor and internal MTN communication (e.g.: CPG; Transmission) for each IBS location
• Propose special projects within the IBS portfolio (e.g.: Metro Subway; Milad Tower…)
Key Tasks: 
• Liaise with marketing & other stake holders with regards to new proposed IBS locations
• Ensure approved budgeted IBS’s are build according to board approval as well as agreed build numbers and timeframe
• Facilitate and maintain open communication between all departments; vendors and contractors 
• Investigate new technologies and their usefulness/ impact on existing as well as new IBS locations
• Evaluate new features (with assistance from Optimization specialist) that could benefit IBS design & KPI’s
• Ensure that existing IBS locations are “future proof” in terms of technology/ capacity & quality requirements
• Manage all budgetary aspects allocated to the IBS project and ensure CAPEX/ OPEX targets are met verses target objectives
• Evaluate and propose all tools to be used for this project (e.g.: transmitters; software…)
• Prepare and quantify all relevant documentation and procedures for the IBS project
• Assist CPG and QA departments with tracking as well as inventory and acceptance of IBS locations 
• Ensure all Health and Safety policies as well as country specific regulations are adhered to
Profile of Ideal Candidate : Education:
BSC/ B-Tech/National Diploma: Electrical/Electronic engineering or Civil engineering with radio propagation overview.
Experience:
• At least 2 years Radio Planning and Optimization experience or Specialist knowledge in another telecommunications field
• Knowledge in active and Passive DAS designs/ techniques 
Training:
• Cell Planning and Optimization tools
• Familiarity with BSS equipment of at least one vendor
• Negotiation skills (pricing and other)
• Budget handling
• Presentation & reporting skills
