JOB Purpose
Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for following up, monitoring and ensuring the ISP and OSP infrastructure project deliverables are met with best quality as per the project design to achieve specific project requirements. He will also have overall responsibilities for coordinating, checking, reviewing, and approving of infrastructure project deployment.

• Understand Structured Cabling System standards and Industry standards to ensure project deployment quality are delivered with standard compliance.
• Review infrastructure design, specifications & implementation plans.
• Review and approve all system testing procedures and test results.
• Lead, manage and conduct acceptance tests.
• Follow up with the line managers on performance & progress of implementation works related to structure cabling systems.
• Interact internally with other departments/engineers to ensure proper implementation of project is maintained.
• Report to Project Manager on all Infrastructure related issues and site snags.
• Supervise and assure that the design has been precisely carried out at site during project execution.
• To provide technical feedback to the design team on the improvements of design aspects according to the practical experience obtained from on the site.
• Reviews summary sheet for ISP/OSP cabling requirements ensuring ISP and OSP capacities are figured adequately and accurately for the assigned project.
• Preparing request for quotation and do tendering for the assigned projects.
• Arrange with the Procurement Coordinator to create Purchase Requisition for the cabling materials.
• Carry out site inspection in coordination with System Integrators, contractors and consultants to ensure projects deliverables are carried out according to the project design and with agreed level of quality.
• Attending internal / external meetings with customer, consultants, contractor to clarify any information required by them regarding the cabling system implementation for the project.
• Manage the Handover of ISP/OSP systems from the System Integrator and assuring design has been fulfilled and quality required has been achieved.
• Hand over ISP/OSP cabling systems to the operation.
• Follow up with the System Integrator and suppliers for material availability, delivery & Installation.
• Plan ahead infrastructure/cabling daily and weekly tasks that to be carried with system integrators, clients, consultants and contractors. This may include arranging for equipment, meeting & site inspections to the related sites and assigned projects
• Prepare necessary daily technical reports that reflect project progress, update and related issues to the line manager.
• To ensure achievement of all quality objectives as set forth in the company quality and to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction in all customer dealings, on both internal and external customer level.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor degree in telecommunication and electronic engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 Years experience related to telecommunication or IT infrastructure.
