Job description:
* PRIAMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:
• To asses the suitability of sites for the construction of Telecommunication Base Stations during Primal Surveys, Technical Site Surveys (Rooftops and Greenfield)
• To ensure that these sites are built in accordance to engineering specifications and are completed in a timely and cost effective manner.
• To assess existing sites to determine and effect required civil works repairs to ensure maintenance of sites in accordance with agreed standards

** MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Site Reconnaissance
• Conduct Site Surveys and prepare detailed sketches based on measurements done on the technical site survey
• Check suitability of site’s physical condition to determine extent of construction required and cost implications
• Preparation of quantities estimates for civil works for site development and assess lster on quotations from contractors for various aspects of site Extra works (access road, site leveling etc.)
• Check accuracy of drawings prepared by CAD Engineers or Subcontractors before issuing to external sources (e.g. contractors, land owners, parish councils etc.)
• Conduct start up works Kick-Off meeting with contractors, which involve initial setting out of sites and stipulation of conditions, which contractors must adhere to during execution of the works.
• Supervise construction of new cell sites to ensure that the sites are built in accordance to specifications and drawings, specifically assessing the level of quality and accuracy and to ensure their Final Acceptance
• Lead project teams or be a project team member for unique projects external to normal cell site construction, For example, Underground Fibre Optic, Structural Analysis & Grounding Upgrade projects.
• Monitor activities of other Cellular Service Providers under Site sharing Agreements to ensure that construction on shared sites are done in accordance with agreed specifications and drawings.

Minimum education level: Bachelors


* REQUIREMENTS:
• 5x Senior Site Supervisors North – (5-10 Years experience in Civil- 5 Years in Telecom)
• 5x Senior Site Supervisors South – (5-10 Years experience in Civil- 5 Years in Telecom)
** Academic qualifications and experience required for job:
• BSc/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction
• Knowledge of Electrical Works
• 5-10 years experience in construction/telecom related projects
• Good command of English (Spoken and Written)

- Construction/Engineering background
- Experience in the telecommunication Business
- Able to work in a team in a challenging environment especially during project deployment
- Able to prioritize tasks
- Ability to multitask
- Negotiating skills
- Demonstrate Project Management skills
- Flexible and willing to accept and adapt to constant changes
Good interpersonal skills
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Suite
